640 new pick positions, saving space at Smartphonehoesjes
Due to a growing shortage of picking positions for their fast-moving items, Smartphonehoesjes decided to optimise part of their warehouse. They set up pallet racks with a picking magazine underneath to free up more floor space and make more efficient use of the available space.
Multitube provided a customised solution with LIFO Banana racks that make the best use of the space under pallet racking. A total of 640 picking positions were created, divided into flow racks with four levels. The racks are designed to be ergonomically accessible and easily refilled from the front. This efficient layout ensures a smooth and user-friendly picking process and increases capacity for fast-moving items.
